This is the section where I will be adding new music from time to time. Perfect for reflection, meditation, or devotion. These will all be recorded as solo mandolin songs using the Bob Altman two point mandolin, Skip Kelley A5, or the Eastman DG1. I can't say enough about these amazing instruments. I thank the good Lord that He has entrusted each one to me during this life. These will also be unedited recordings with no reverb or special effects added. Just the pure sound captured by the Yamaha Pocketrak recorder. God speed,

The Flower [5:43] 
The Altman mandolin I play has a flower pot symbol on it, hence the name. The Lord has really blessed me with an incredible instrument among many other things. Recorded on April 11, 2010.

Recorded on April 10, 2010. This song was played with the pick in a slightly different position which gave a different sound signature to the track. Hope you like it. This song is dedicated to the story of Jesus when he met the woman at the well.

The Wesley Hall or Chapel at Northwest Hills UMC is a marvelous place. The acoustics are incredible and I feel the Lord's presence each time I enter the room. This is the first recording with my Skip Kelley that I've posted on this site. Therefore I am offering it as a free download so you can compare instruments more readily. Jesus's promise for us all is that if we believe in Him we will have life forever. Quite a promise. This is the second recording with the Skip Kelley A-5 and uses Thomastik heavies instead of the J74s - otherwise the setup is the same. Good chance to compare string choices.
