I praise the Lord for letting me spend this summer in Montana. This section is going to be dedicated to God's glorious creation. I am going to start by reading and meditating on a verse from the Bible and then respond with a spontaneous recording based on the verse. This was something a pastor friend of mine did a lot and I think it's great idea. No overdubbing. Very little editing with the exception of some reverb. God speed,

Eternity [3:16] 
This was a meditation on eternity with our Savior and His Father in Heaven. Eternity is a long time and I am certainly looking forward to it. The length of the recording was not on purpose but John 3:16 comes to mind. Accept Christ as you Savior and you will have everlasting life. Recorded with the Skip Kelley on 6/17/2010.

Jesus Wept [5:10] 
The shortest passage in the Bible. It shows how as He was God, Jesus was also human. I am not a blues musician, but I tried to add a bluesy element to this recording. The center scale was in G, but I got off it quite a bit. Recorded on the Skip Kelley with a little reverb on 10/6/2010.

Imagine the horrible feeling that Mary felt seeing Christ on the cross. Imagine how many modern day mothers see their children or other love ones in pain of some type. This is a mediation on that. Recorded 6/3/2010.

The Garden [3:31] 
We are building a vegetable garden at the cabin in Montana. Less a meditation on scripture but more the work that goes into cultivating plants here on Earth. Thank God for the sun and the rain to help these plants grow. Uses the Indian Classical instruments of tanpura and tabla. Recorded on 6/1/10 with the Kelley.

Struggles [2:52] 
Recorded using the Dawg Eastman. Third recording on that instrument. I recorded this after being interrupted twice during recordings. I had a pretty peaceful feeling starting out and then bam, that was gone. My anxiety was so high that my hands were shaking. It's incredible what you can do, even in adverse conditions
